Why LED?
The difference between LED light and other forms is like the difference between copper and silica. One of generations, not just material.
Or, to put it another way, conductor based light versus semi-conductor based solid-state light.
It’s all the more crucial to switch to LED technology now because of the environmental challenges we face. And other older lighting technologies such as CFL or incandescent are just not up to the larger challenges.
But it also makes sense to switch to LED for very practical reasons, such as longer life, lower maintenance, hygiene, electricity bills etc.
